The Foundation Strategy

Unlike traditional custom shops that start from a blank canvas, every Yama Van starts with one of our five engineered foundations (models). These platforms ensure rigorous safety standards, thoughtful weight optimization, and are designed to meet Transport Canada certification requirements, before we begin personalizing your van.

Investment & Timeline

This process allows us to deliver a fully built, 4-season vehicle in just 8–10 weeks from production start. Our builds start at $103,000 CAD for the Gear Bus™ model and $209,000 CAD for Signature Series (excluding chassis), delivering a premium, road-ready vehicle designed to last.

How does the guaranteed pricing work?

Once you've completed the design consultation and approved your final build — including your model, upgrades, and finishes — your price is locked in. That means no hidden fees, no surprise adjustments after production, and no cost increases passed on to you. We take on that risk so you can move forward with full confidence in what you're investing. From design approval to the day you drive away, the number you agreed to is the number you pay.

How do Yama Vans hold their value and do you help with resale?

Yama Vans are built to higher manufacturing and engineering standards than many traditional RVs, which helps them retain strong long-term value. As a Transport Canada certified manufacturer and Mercedes-Benz Expert Upfitter, every van is built to recognized safety and manufacturing standards—making ownership, registration, and resale simpler. In practice, we see depreciation rates fall well below typical RV benchmarks. 

We also support resale through our Pre-Loved Yama Vans program. When owners are ready to sell, we connect their van with a qualified audience already looking for a Yama build, and offer system checks and upgrade options for the next owner—helping create a smoother resale process and stronger value when it’s time to move on to your next adventure.

What kind of support does Yama Vans provide after the build is delivered?

The relationship doesn't end when you drive away — it's built to last. Before handing over the keys, the Yama team spends a couple of hours walking you through every system in your van, making sure you feel confident and ready to roll. You'll also leave with comprehensive self-serve resources to reference long after delivery.

From there, you're backed by a dedicated service team who knows your specific build inside and out — available for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and tune-ups whenever you need them. And because Yama is a certified Mercedes-Benz Expert Upfitter and Transport Canada Certified manufacturer, your van comes with a 3-year / 60,000 km (36,000 mi) warranty that doesn't start until your build is complete.
